As part of the 2040 film which we showed during lockdown, the idea of an ‘environmental dashboard’ captured people’s imaginations. The example shown in the film was XX (link), and started us wondering whether we could do something similar for Heswall, so that everyone would become more aware of how much resource (power, water, waste generated etc) we were consuming at the community level…and then see what changes could be made to try to reduce this. 

The first step was trying to find out what monitoring information might be available on Heswall’s environmental performance. This is what we found:

We would like to continue to develop this idea into a project to show ‘live’ data on what resources Heswall is currently using. If you are interested in being involved in this project, please get in touch
